This par 4 is a good starting hole with a tee shot from an elevated tee to a wide landing area, guarded mostly by a trap on the left and trees on the right. The second shot with a short to medium iron, is to an elevated green which is shallow, but wide and crowned in the middle, sloping to the right and left from the center. There is a premium on the second shot because of the huge traps at the front and to the left of the green.

The second hole of our Championship golf course is a good driving hole with troublesome mounds in the left rough and trees in the right rough with a huge oak guarding against any shot to the green. A long diagonally placed green, which is well guarded along the right front, left side, and rear by traps will require a well placed second shot.

For the long hitter, the green might be reached in two but a lurking pond at the left of the green and woods on the right will catch the errant shot. This beautiful par 3 from an elevated tee, to a green guarded by a menacing oak at the left front with traps at right front and along the left side of the green. The green is wide at the front and narrows toward the rear. The real test comes to this hole when the pin is placed at the rear of this 180-foot green. A well-placed shot to the proper half of the green is essential.

The final hole of the best Dearborn golf course is truly a great finishing hole which decides many matches. The green is two-hundred feet from front to rear, narrow in front while twice as wide at the rear. It is divided in half by a hog-back ridge running from the center of the green to the rear. Two large ponds on either side of the green make this a hole not for the weak at heart.
